Welcome to our website … we are happy to receive you even though it is on a site that is still under construction …

However, you will be able to follow from a distance the work of the sisters of the Union of Our Lady of Charity who are gathered for their 4 general Chapter at Carrollton, Ohio, USA. We are in the house of the general Administration of the North American Union (NAU) Sisters of Our Lady of Charity.

39 delegates, coming from 3 continents where we are present, will work from 1 to 19 July 2007. The theme of our meeting is:

Since our foundation by Saint John Eudes in 1641, Our Lady of Charity has always sought to adapt and renew our way of life so as to carry out our mission effectively. Today we are faced with challenges which call us once again to renewal. The delegates will reflect together on the important issues for us today:

• how to network both nationally and internationally
• how to promote ecological sustainability and environmental protection
• how to create among ourselves new North/South relationships of trust, coresponsibility and interdependence
• how to witness to reconciliation and unity in a world torn apart by war and greed
